SHIFT-ON-THE-FLY 4WD
Traversing all sort of terrain is no problem with the D-MAX's exclusive button activated Shift-On-The-Fly 4WD system. With its Low Range and Neutral Modes, it can take you where other pick-ups fear to go.
ROBUST TRANSMISSIONS
Standard on the D-MAX is a 5-speed M/T with precise shifting action. For those who prefer a leisurely drive, a 4-speed A/T with Direct Electronic Shift Control (for added smoothness) is available.
FLEX RIDE SUSPENSION
Improvements to the D-MAX's ride was achieved with the new Flex Ride Suspension System. It also allowed for increased payload capacity as well as retaining ground clearance.
DUAL SRS AIRBAGS
